Angelina Jolie Goes Fur Shopping With Maddox

Coming off of a dominating weekend at the box office, Angelina Jolie celebrated by taking son Maddox shopping at the Edwards-Lowell Fur Boutique in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon. The Girl Interrupted actress and her animated feature Beowulf roughed up the competition this past weekend, pulling in $28.1 million in the U.S. and Canada.

Meanwhile, Angelina is dealing with issues on the homefront, as adopted daughter Zahara’s mom has recently stepped forward and spoken to press. Mentewab Dawit, who deserted Zahara when she was just five months old because she had no food to feed her, denied claims that she wanted Zahara back, going on to praise Angelina for giving her a home.

Dawit told: “I have never disputed the adoption. It was something I never said. I decided to flee rather than watch her die. “I think my daughter is a very fortunate human being to be adopted by a world famous lady. I wish them all the success they both deserve. I have no ill-feelings towards her.”
